  Sparta Arts Cultural Committee

   The mission of the Sparta Township Cultural Affairs Committee is to provide a significant level of cultural enrichment to members of the community through its programs and special events. The Committee currently plans, develops, and presents an entertaining Summer Concert series that includes performances by world-renowned professional artists from different musical genres. The concert series also showcases many talented individuals who reside right here in our own community. The Committee believes that this all inclusive approach to presenting the series provides Sparta residents the unique opportunity to explore the rich and diverse elements of the cultural world around us, and among us.

	Hello! Thanks to the many years of generous contributions of our local sponsors, the Sparta Cultural Affairs Committee (SCAC) has been able to bring a wide variety of culturally enriching programs to the community through the presentation of the Sparta Summer Concert Series. Under the direction of professional musician and educator, Karl Latham, and with six enthusiastic members ranging from artists to business experts, SCAC is in the process of lining up Sparta summer concerts with an impressive roster of musicians from different areas of the U.S. and abroad. In addition we are planning new cultural events that we will be announcing throughout the year. The Sparta Cultural Affairs Committee will be announcing a schedule for this year's Friday night concert series, and is also making an appeal for donations. The concerts, which take place in George Dykstra Memorial Park in Sparta, are free to the public and are funded solely by private and corporate donations. More private donors are needed to continue this series which features such high-calibre acts. As you may know, this concert series is funded by local support and donations from the community. Though we know you have many requests for such support, we would like to ask for your help in donating a tax-deductible gift to Sparta Arts for the 2007 Culutural events. Four possible levels of contribution are described below. Additionally, we would be very appreciative of a gift in any amount. Thanks for considering the Sparta Cultural Events Series in your local charitable opportunities.
	Season Sponsor - $5,000 Donation
	Corporate name/logo on all printed material/ seasonal banner/website. We will recognize our Season Sponsors at our last concert event on July 30 with a formal appreciation announcement and plaque presentation. (Press releases and photos will also be created)

	Event Sponsor - $1,000 Donation
	Corporate name/logo on all print media/weekly banner/website


	Event Co-Sponsor - $250 - $500 Donation
	Corporate name/logo on all print media/weekly banner/website


	Individual Sponsor - $25 - $100 Donation
